Michael Chapman & Company is a firm of Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents which provides advice on the purchase, letting, management and sale of commercial property in the Isle of Man and the UK. The company was founded in 1973 and it is the only practice in the Isle of Man which concentrates solely on commercial property.
Our services are retained by both property owners and property occupiers seeking advice on a wide range of issues. We form long-lasting relationships with our clients, advising them on all commercial property matters from site acquisition and development to management of the leased investment.
We have handled the letting or management of some 750,000 sq ft of office and shop developments in Douglas, including Barclays House, Queen Victoria House, Zurich House, Atlantic House, Belgravia House and the Clinch’s scheme. Recent retail work includes the redevelopment of 88 Strand Street which was pre-let to Monsoon PLC. Current projects include the Villiers Scheme comprising 132,000 sq ft of offices and retail space on the Loch Promenade in Douglas.
